Miklós Bodoczky
Attended a musical primary school where he started singing in large choirs and vocal ensembles. He later learnt to play the cello and subsequently the viola da gamba. He attended master classes in singing and viol-playing in the UK and Holland with Emma Kirkby, Anthony Rooley, Jaap ter Linden and others. He was a member of the early music group Musica Profana for 14 years, contributing to 4 of the group's CD recordings as a bass soloist and gambist. With an MA degree in English and French from ELTE, he is a freelance English translator, and for 2 years he worked for the European Commission in Luxembourg. He sang with the Ensemble Vocal de Luxembourg, and is currently also a member of the Purcell Choir and the Arion Consort of Viols in Budapest.
